JOUW ROL

De douaneafdeling van onze logistieke regio in west Nederland is op zoek naar een nieuwe Customs Brokerage & Operations Manager. In deze functie ben jij de leidinggevende van de customs teams in Amsterdam, Nieuwegein en Den Haag. Samen zijn jullie verantwoordelijk voor een optimale uitvoering van operationele douaneprocessen en draag jij dus bij aan het succes van onze logistieke dienstverlening voor verschillende klanten!

WAT GA JE DOEN?

Als Customs Brokerage & Operations Manager geef je leiding aan een team van 10 declaranten. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het handhaven van het vastgestelde douane nalevingsbeleid beleid binnen deze locaties. Daarnaast heb je nauw contact met jouw leidinggevende, de Customs Operations Manager Benelux, over ontwikkelingen binnen het team en uitvoering van projecten.

Concreet voer je onder andere de volgende werkzaamheden uit:

Leidinggeven aan een team van 10 declaranten. Je wordt bijgestaan door een customs compliance coördinator;
Waarborgen van het customs compliance beleid;
Coördineren van de operationale douane processen van de douane entrepots;
Aandacht hebben voor vragen, wensen en behoeften van de (interne) klant;
Vaktechnisch opleiden en adviseren van douane collega's;
Richtlijnen geven over de laatste wet- en regelgeving.

Je komt te werken op ons kantoor in Amsterdam en zult naar gelang de behoefte ook aanwezig zijn in Nieuwegein en Den Haag. Maandag t/m vrijdag zijn jouw werkdagen en je bent flexibel in het indelen van je werktijden binnen kantooruren (08:00-18:00 uur).

Je bent proactief en communicatief sterk, want je hebt veel contact met verschillende collega's en externe stakeholders. Het nauwkeurig en tijdig aanleveren van informatie en opvolgen van ontwikkelingen vind jij belangrijk. Je bent en blijft op de hoogte van relevante ontwikkelingen in de wet- en regelgeving en zorgt ervoor dat collega's hierover geïnformeerd worden.

Je brengt de volgende kennis en ervaring mee:

Hbo werk- en denkniveau;
Succesvol afgeronde opleiding Manager Customs & Trade Affairs (Evo Fenedex) of gelijkwaardig;
Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen de douane;
Een sterk analytisch vermogen en bereid je vakkennis hoog te houden;
Vloeiende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal (only English-speaking applicants will not be selected).
