You can use your Galaxy Watch Active without connecting to a mobile device, making it easier to use with outdoor activities like running, hiking and mountain climbing. You can setup the Galaxy Watch Active without a mobile device when it is turned on for the first time or after it has been reset.
Please note: some features are not available when using your Galaxy Watch Active without connecting to a mobile device

How to set up the Watch Active without a mobile device
Please note: to set up the Watch Active without a mobile device, it must be taken through the initial setup. If you have already set up your Watch Active, reset it before following these steps
1Turn on the Galaxy Watch Active and swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen
2Tap the globe icon and select a language to use
3Tap the question mark icon, scroll down the screen and tap Here
4Check the notice and tap Continue
5Read the terms and conditions and tap Agree to agree to them
6Tick that you have read and agreed all the above and tap Next
7Login or create a Samsung account by tapping Next, or tap Skip
8Set a time zone, date, and time
9Set a PIN for restoring or backing up data
If at any point you wish to connect the Galaxy Watch Active to your mobile device, tap the Settings icon, Connections then scroll down to Connect to new phone. Then enter the PIN you created to connect the watch to your device.
How do I download apps from my Watch Active?
Please note: to download apps from Galaxy Store you need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Join a Wi-Fi network by tapping Settings > Connections> Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi networks
1Press the home button to access the app screen
2Select the Galaxy store app and scroll down to Apps
3Apps on the Galaxy Store are separated by function. Choose the type of app you want to download
4Select the one you wish to download and tap Install
