Baki Hanma vs Kengan Ashura is an action Japanese anime movie that revolves around the fighters of the Underground Arena and Kengan Association.
One of the most awaited anime movies is finally here, but is it worth watching? Baki Hanma vs Kengan Ashura was recently released on Netflix focusing on the main characters Baki Hanma along with Ohma Tokita.
At first, the plot wasn't interesting and it didn't make me feel intrigued but slowly the movie started to grow on me. The movie starts with showing two different individuals running on the road and they have eye contact at that moment the road starts to shake and the people start to run here and there, but then only it realizes that an earthquake happened.
Ohma was focused on looking at the guy who was on the opposite road, but when his known person called him, the guy was gone by then. Then the actual story started, the Underground Arena and Kengan Association have one of the finest and strongest fighters but they have never fought against one another. For the first time, The Underground Arena and Kengan Association are going to fight against each other.
The fighters of The Underground Arena are extremely strong. On the other hand, The fighters of the Kengan Association are also no joke. They are very strong, have good knowledge of fighting techniques, and are on the same level as the fighters of the Underground Arena.
My interest was not on that level till the movie started to show the fight between Hanayama and Saw Paing. The first fight was between Hanayama and Saw Paing, when they started to fight, my reaction was okayish, but when they started to change their techniques and forms I was like “What the hell am I watching?”, for the first time I watched an anime movie which includes such a level of action scenes that gave me goosebumps and I felt creepy too, but it was so worth watching.
I was so invested in the movie that I didn't even realize when it was over. Well, I kind of felt bad when Saw Paing lost the match, but I felt good that Hanayama won the match against him. It was a crazy match between two crazy fighters, but this was not the end, the next fight was between Jack Hammer and Kure Raian.
The fight between these two fighters was so head-to-head that I almost pulled out my hair while stressing out about who was going to win. Moreover, their fight was so deadly and it was extremely creepy to watch, the way they were giving each other those deadly punches, kicks, and other fighting techniques, everything made my jaw drop. At that point, the fight was not about winning the competition, but it was more like killing or being killed.
Both of them didn't end the fight and they kept on fighting which ended up making Ohma Tokita and Baki Hanma step forward to stop their fight. Amidst all these, a new character entered to kill the two fighters, but Ohma Tokita and Baki Hanma Handled the situation safely.
At this point, I was literally like what is happening, this movie keeps on getting interesting every damn minute. Well, it was worth the try and I was happy to give it a try. Now the last match was between Ohma Tokita and Baki Hanma, these two met at the start of the movie and they realized at that moment that they would be fighting against each other.
Their fight was worth keeping till the end of the movie, well I was like “This is it! I needed to see something like this, and glad that the movie is available on Netflix!”, what made their fight more interesting was when it was interrupted by the great fighter Kuroki and Baki Hanma’s father. Both of them are known as the greatest fighters, and when their sons tried to stop them from interrupting the fight, they didn't hesitate to give a punch to both of them and in the end, it was a draw between them.
So, the next fight will decide the winner. Well, I didn't like how the movie ended, but it seems like there will be a second part of it. I would say it was worth watching till the end except the ending. Maybe, there will be a second part which is why they ended the movie with a cliffhanger. But if you are planning to watch this then trust me this is worth watching, and you won't feel bored while watching it.
